Dream Sequence wave?
I am trying to start a dream sequence with a “wavy” fade out effect. I’m sure everyone has seen this effect used in such films as Wayne’s World and others. I have a Turbulent Displace effect on the video and have animated the amount to increase as the evolution is moving. I can not get the effect to look proper though. If anyone has done this before or knows how to achieve that look please let me know. The effect I am trying to achieve has been used a load and should look like it has in the past. Thanks.

The problem with TurbulenceDisplace for such an effect is that it creates a ‘sticky’ look to the pixels. Normal Displacement would be better. And perhaps WaveWorld the best. There are COW Tutorials on both of these.

WaveWorld works really well for that effect.
