for some reason, lately i’ve been getting these green squares in and around my video that has been rendered. Upon playing back the rendered clip, the record monitor will just stop and the audio will continue playing. then as i go back and just going forward frame by frame, the place where the monitor stopped is where the green squares start to show up. It usually only last for a few frames, but there are no obvious symptoms as to why sometimes it will be a full screen of jiggity green specs or just ten green squares that take up half the screen. The squares have red, pink, blue and yellow smaller pixels in them and are obviously not the desired result of a rendered clip.

I dont know why but this has also happened upon digitizing as well. That has only happened on one clip and only lasted for a few frames.

please help with this weird issue.

Plus is there any way i can export a video clip from AE that wont need to be rendered in PPO??

    thanks in advance

I’ve had the same issue and ditching my Matrox RTX100 card cured it for me. Never looked back since. Slightly sorry to see the card go but it was the most unreliable piece of kit I’ve used in over 25-years. Would not capture for more than 20 seconds, created the effects you have witnessed and repeatedly locked-up.
