    I know how to use the shape tool to draw a circle or curve-cornered rectangle but it is always filled with the color I choose. How do I draw the just the outline. I’ve tried drawing the filled pixel version then adding a stroke outline then erasing the inner pixels but this seems awfully compicated – is there an easier way?

    I usually set the Fill for the Shape layer to 0% and give it a Stroke in Layer Style.
