    Hello guys,

    I have a spheric object (watermelon). I basically need to draw a shape (pair of sunglasses) and make them look they have been carved in the watermelon’s skin.

    How do I do that? I tried with booleans, and its a mess.
    How to you actually draw the shape of the glasses, and project it into the watermelon mesh? So that after that, I can delete the extra polygons of the watermelon, and keep the glasses only.

    Sorry for the bad english and thanks in advance for the help. 🙂

    You have a number of options:

    1. Surface Deformer;
    2. Shrink Wrap Deformer;
    3. Wrap Deformer (spherical mode);
    4. Spherify Deformer.

    Once you have the glasses deformed the way you want use “current state to object” and then apply the boolean.
