This may be a dumb question, but I’m often stuck here in this situation.

I have a project, and now I need to extend an area to give it more time for a graphic effect. So I need to drag everything(Clips, connected storylines, dialogue, titles) to the right. How do I do that.

I need to move everything to the right of the first title you see on the screen.

Here’s the image of my project timeline

What’s the easiest way to do this?

You could add a gap clip. Place your playhead where you want to add it, and press option-w on the keyboard. By default it’s fairly short but you can drag it out to be as large as you like.

Take that gap clip, use the Arrow tool, grab the left side of it, and drag left, which will, essentially, push everything ahead of it to the right.

Sounds confusing, but give it a shot.
