So I have a string of clips in the project pane that I want to drop into a timeline. They are nicely lined up in the project, for example, A015_C006 to C015 and A016_C001 to C003. I start at A015_C006 and draw a box down to A016_C003, then I scroll back up and click on the A015_C006 and drag the clips to the timeline. Somehow magically once they hit the timeline, the order randomly changes. In this case, I got A015_C006 to C011, then C013, then C012, C014, C015 then A016_C003, C002, C001. Why is doing that? Is there something about the way I’m dragging and dropping that causes the order to change?

Have you tried dragging them to the program monitor and performing an insert or overwrite edit that way?
