DPX to Prores using Color…no audio
I’m trying to down rez DPX to prores HQ to offline in FCP 7.0.3. No problems, it renders nicely, BUT I’m not getting any audio. Is that just the way it is or am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

It’s my understanding that DPX files are just an image sequence and therefore cannot contain any audio. You should therefore have been given an audio mix or whatnot that came separate with the original and you would have to join the two again for output. Hope this helps!
