Hey guys, sorry if I seem rushed but I’m running on a thight deadline. So I have rendered out prints from Cinema 4D @ 128 dpi, they are 8.5″x5.5″. Now I edited them in After Effects, but when I export them, they are 72 dpi. So when I import them into photoshop they are obviously much bigger cuz the dpi is set to 72. I would prefer not resizing them, so I’m asking how can the DPI be ajusted in AE.

AE is DPI agnostic, or ignorant, depending on your point of view. It only knows pixel measurements (640×480, 720×540, etc.)

You need to calculate it manually by multiplying 128 by 8.5 to get that measurement in pixels.

    128 pixels per inch (dpi) x 8.5 inches = 1088 pixels
    128 ppi x 5.5 = 704 pixels

So set up a comp in AE that is 1088 x 704.
