Downsizing 1440×1080 to 720×480

April 14, 2010 at 3:07 pmI just recently imported some Steadicam footage shot with my Panasonic AG-HMC150, which films in a 1440×1080 aspect ratio. We also used a second, similar camera (A Panasonic, I believe 100B) that shoots in 720×480 and I’d like to downsize my footage to this ratio. What’s the best way to go about doing this? I have Moyea Video Converter (this is how I import my MTS files) as well as Squeeze (if that helps).

May 1, 2010 at 1:19 pmDo you know of a way to do it in Avid? I know you said you are a FCP guy, which I’ve also used, and it’s fairly similar editing-wise (I just grew up on Avid so that’s what I prefer). How do you do it in FCP? It’s probably a semi-similar process in Avid.
