Hi, this is my first post on here, and any help or guidance would really save my life! I’ve been making a video in FCP using a mix of footage from an NTSC DVX100 and converted HD to SD footage from an NTSC HVX200. I exported it to region 0 NTSC in DVDSP (Im in the UK but this dvd will be distributed worldwide, hence the NTSC)….. All looks great, and when I burnt a test DVD, it worked fine on my macbook, G5 desktop and also on my PAL DVD player / TV. However, when I tested it on a different PAL DVD player and TV, strangely the footage shot on the HVX looked absolutely awful, the movement is extremely jittery and strobe-like, while the footage shot on the DVX is fine. Does anyone know the cause of this problem and how I can prevent it? I’m thinking that maybe it was the way I converted the HD footage? Many thanks in advance!!

    James
