  • Downloading XMF Files from Dropbox

I have someone shooting video for me in Texas and I would like to be able to download their original files using Dropbox. They are shooting with a Canon XF300. I have had them upload the CONTENT original files without changing anything, but every time after I download the files they become corrupt.

I would love to find a workflow for this so I can download the original files from dropbox and get them into FCP using log and transfer. Anyone know if there is a way for this to work, or another files transfer service besides Dropbox?

Perhaps ZIP them before posting on Dropbox.

Having the other person zip the file seems to have gotten me further, but I am now receiving a message that says the file is not properly ingested.
