downloading Vegas V12
Posted by Roger Bansemer on November 16, 2016 at 9:06 pmI’ve just got a new computer and want to download V12. I have the purchased serial number but not the program.
Where can I download Vegas12?
Thanks

November 16, 2016 at 10:47 pmThe old SCS versions may not (yet?) be available from MAGIX.
If you have an account on https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com log in there.
Then try this link.

Thanks.

November 17, 2016 at 3:27 pmHi Roger,
Good that you have the download you need via Jorma’s link.
The link I provided probably would not have gotten you what you needed, but it is a live URL, if it is copied and pasted in a browser. Apparently I don’t know how to use the COW link function!!

November 17, 2016 at 4:54 pmGeorge, it’s just a Magix way of handling these links. But you’re right, their Download Center recognizes my S/N as v 12, but “no downloads available for the selected product.” It seems only Magix-branded versions are available there at the moment.

Hi Jorma,
When I found that link, I thought perhaps Magix had everything ported over, but following the link and actually doing the download proved it was just the Magix branded version. Also, some of my registered products are still not there.
Good that the Sony link still provides users a route to get their older versions downloaded.
It doesn’t make much difference to me anymore, as with your help previously, I have all my product downloads (and backed up), as well as, all the serial numbers I require.
Best Regards……George
