downloading the trial and using it on a different computer?
I am on a computer that has had registry problems but rather than trying to fix them at the moment, I wanted to get the trial version of sony vegas on this computer, but everytime I try to install I get a error 1603. So I am trying to avoid this problem by downloading and installing the trial version of vegas onto a flash drive from another computer, and opening it up on this one. So I did, but it wouldn’t let me open the program, enstead it asked for a serial number, but it will let me open it on the other computer. How can I get sony vegas trial from another computer to this computer?

It sounds like you may have a previous install of the full version on your computer because the trial should not be asking for a license key. I would try doing a clean uninstall. The instructions are in the Sony Knowledgebase.
