  • Downgrading from FCS 3 to 2

    Hi.
I had to downgrade from Final Cut Studio 3 to 2, but Installer let me check just Motion, Soundtrack and Dvd Studio, while FCP, Compressor and Color are unchecked, grey and set on ‘ignore’.
I tried to uninstall, following some instruction on Apple website, I tried also FCS Remover, but it doesn’t change.
    Any idea?

    Thanks

Sorry but to go back to a previous version you are going to need to erase the system drive and install the OS and FCP clean

A Better option would be to take a second drive and install a new OS and FCP 2 on the 2nd drive and keep your 1st drive with FCS 3.

Then you can choose which one to boot from.

    Hindsight is always 1080p

FCS Remover by Digital Rebellion is supposed to remove all or certain apps in Final Cut Studio.

Oh, I didn’t know I have to erase everything.
    Thanks, I’ll do it.
