  • Downcoverting with a JVC DT-V20L1D Monitor?

I have a JCV DT-V20L1D LCD monitor and I am trying to downconvert an HD clip (1080i60) to SD. I am running an SDI cable from a Blackmagic DeckLink HD Pro DL PCIe to the JCV monitor’s SDI Input (Using Blackmagic’s Deck Control App). Then the theory is to run another SDI cable from the HD/SD SDI (SWITCHED OUT) terminal to a deck of some sort (Probably my Panasonic HPX-500). The manual tells me I can do this, it just doesn’t tell me how. Is there a way to make the monitor show the SD image? Or maybe even a 2-up? Am I dreaming and this won’t work?

Also is this in the right forum?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan
