Downconverting 1080p23.98 footage using Compressor 3
I have some proRes 1080p23.98 footage which I would like to convert to SD using Compressor3…Here is what I do
1. Within FCP, I convert the FCP timeline into a QT Reference File
2. I bring the QT Reference file into Compressor 3
3. I select the SD DVD setting Best Quality and turn on Frame ControlsMy questions is that I want to downconvert the footage using Compressor 3 to 480p.
Will the frame rate change from 23.98 to 29.97?…I have shot a music video which needs to be aired during a broadcast screen during a wedding reception? It will be played from a laptop connected to a projector and displayed on a huge screen. Can anyone recommend some Compressor 3 settings?
