Downconvert dropping frames
When downconverting 59.94 sequences to an SD deck, I have sometimes run across “dropped frames” which will stop the Digital Cut even when the master clips are fine. I have output these sequences to HD with no problem. The dropped frames do not seem to be part of the footage as they sometimes will capture after multiple attempts, more like an error upon either the Video Output Tool, the Avid Version, or the Graphics card.
I am an assistant editor & although I have done many outputs in my time, I have never run across this before & our deck has to go back today. EEEEk
The first 4 episodes output without any issues, but as I move forward the dropped frames seem to be more frequent.
These projects were also worked on by two other editors on 3 different systems but here are my specs because that is all I can account for.
