downbeat pointer
I would like to add a downbeat pointer for every measure so that someone watching the video knows where they are in the chord progression, any suggestions for the best way of going about this would be appreciated.

You could just make a colored vertical bar that moves to the beginning of every measure to show what measure you’re on. This can be created using Generated Media and animated with Track Motion. You could also highlight the current measure with a box or yellow overlay. Some Wingding fonts have a hand with a finger pointing. You could simply use the Text generator to move the pointing finger to the start of each measure at the down beat. Make it a nice bright color that’s easy to see.

Thank you for your reply, I used the text generator and it works great, just takes time to line up the pointer to each measure. -
