  Down to the final 3

  Okay here’s the setup..a DS,(PC) an Adrenaline(PC), an Express Pro(PC), 3 FCP suites,…an animation group consisting of 4 PC’s & a MAC G5. I know it’s a dog’s breakfast! We would be running mostly DNx streams for the AVIDs, and DVCPro HD, or Pro Res for the FCP suites.

  We are down to Facilis Terablock, Archion NODE, and Roarke Data HDX2.

  We do mostly long form projects(Reality, 1hr specials, network design packages)..we would be okay with keeping the animation group on GigE for now. I know the Facilis works well with AVID, anybody have comments about it working with FCP? Roarke Data, seems the most flexible expansion wise. Archion seems to be taking Facilis on with their NODE product(I haven’t found anyone who is using it though) How about support from these 3. Hero stories or nightmares, from anyone?
