  doubt about cut layers

  which setting are better for AE, becouse i had a problem, once i import an .ai crope file in AE some of the layers appear Cut in the middle and whit not to good resolution as the original file in AI…thanks. why this happen? if my artwork is in 720/480 and also the composition in AE…thanks.
