    Hi there.
I am trying to create a short animation, and would love to get ideas on how to achieve.
I have about 90 dots which are creating a Hexagon shape

This Hexagon shape might have two simple gradient layers to suggest a 3d cube shape, like this:

I would like the “Cube” to start as it facing the viewer, here is a quick sketch

and rotating to finish in a situation like this:

the red dots which form a T shape, ends as Y due to the rotation…
I would love to have independent control on those DOTS and also on the lines between them.
I believe working in 2D is the way to go (then the complexity is the rotation from front to high).
Those black sketches are simple 3 layers of 6X6 dots arranged in 3D, but then the complexity is the dots on the borders, and the fact that the dots are skewed and not straight as the first two images…
Thank you for reading, and I hope I am clear.
    Any input is appreciated!
