    Just wondering if anyone can help.. this is killing me..

    I have a grid of dots (about 20×15) and I want the dots to randomly flash on only a handful at a time.
    I then want this to reveal words (1 at a time) that are made out of the grid (A bit like a digital clock with numbers)
    I’ve been trying with Trapcode particular, but can’t seem to get the control for the random grid. I’ve also had a go with expressions but i’m not too familiar with them.
    I’d be happy to just get the random cycle going and use the timewarp/hand masking to get through the transitions.

    Oh yeah and as always I’ve not got much time to crack this..

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean, the words I need to make have been designed and they can be made from the grid I mentioned. I’m just struggling for the technical on how to create the random flashing effect of the dots and maintain the control I need..
