  Dots bouncing and changing color off collision

  I’m trying to recreate this simulation from the Washington Post:

  Where one ball eventually infects the rest. I’m using Newton for motion I just need the expression. And Newton can export keyframes for contact, though I need the color change to occur only on the first contact.
