Hi, I imagine this is relatively simple as I’ve mastered Pete Wiggins film strip tutorial, but brain is not engaging this.

What I am trying to do is animate an image sequence of stills(quite a few) moving from right to left in a steady manner, other than doing it manually,

I was hoping to turn an image sequence movie at 4fps into an emmitter that would send the stills across screen- only two stills on screen at any one time, my stills seem to jumble which actually looks nice but they’re out of sequence and not the effect I am looking for- it has to be plain and simple; linear pass across the screen like a postcard time lapse. Am still a newbie to motion and can actually manage some advanced operations due to skills I’ve learned in other animation apps so please be gentle, am using 1.01. Thanks in advance to any helpers,

    thanks
    Willie

I do not have Motion with Me, but I wonder if you could record an action with automator, say, advance timeline 10 frames, open folder, drag a photo into canvas, do a throw behavior… and have it repeat the action 30,000 times, or whatever number photos you have. That, or maybe quickeys, or Applescript (remember the nice little recorder in Applescript)? Wish it were still here…
