The PC version of GTX 570/580 both seem to work with the new driver in 10.7.4. Same as 10.7.3.

    Hi Rohit,

Can you tell me if you’re getting a boot screen (Apple logo) when you boot up under 10.4.7 with the new Nvidia driver?

    Thanks.

If you’re not using an EFId card (from macvidcards) and your monitor is connected to the 570/580 card, you will not see a boot screen. Only work on cards running efi firmware.

    David,
I have a GTX 580 from Macvidcards and I am wondering if I need to update the NVIDIA driver or not.

Would it be a good idea to install the
    NVIDIA driver version: 295.00.05f02
    on OS X 10.7.5?

I don’t want to screw anything up.
    Thanks in advance
