May 17, 2012 at 3:41 amHi Rohit,
Can you tell me if you’re getting a boot screen (Apple logo) when you boot up under 10.4.7 with the new Nvidia driver?
Thanks.

May 17, 2012 at 3:52 amIf you’re not using an EFId card (from macvidcards) and your monitor is connected to the 570/580 card, you will not see a boot screen. Only work on cards running efi firmware.

I have a GTX 580 from Macvidcards and I am wondering if I need to update the NVIDIA driver or not.Would it be a good idea to install the
NVIDIA driver version: 295.00.05f02
on OS X 10.7.5?I don’t want to screw anything up.
Thanks in advanceRobert Due
