I am trying to do an effect but am not sure how to do it. Also if theres a tutorial please point me in the right direction. In theory its simple. I have a shot where we dolly ed back from our subject practically. I have tracking that’s rock solid. now what I want to do is halfway between where the dolly starts and stops I want to add a cigarette smoke element to the shot. So I need to use the tracking data to get an accurate comp but the smoke needs to be in 3D space. I’m sure this is easy but I have little experience in 3D. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind I figured it out. I was trying to make it harder than it had to be. I just ALT clicked on the my clips SCALE property and pick whipped the SCALE property on the Null with the tracking data applied and then just added *5 to the end of the expression to adjust the scale a bit more. I was making it harder by trying to do this in 3D space when I didnt need to. Hope this helps someone.
