    Doing scribe effect, how to add hand?

    Hi, trying to create scribe effect, added illustration and using QuickDraw script created drawing effect, but it generated a lot of strokes. How can I create another copy of those strokes and for example create some kind of dot, that would follow the same path with the same timing, so I would need only to trace that dot and add hand.
