Does Wirecast auto-reconnect?
I’m currently using the free Ustream Producer software to send out our channel 24/7. Sometimes the internet connection drops, and the software hangs there with an error message. One has to come in and clear the error message, hit “Start Broadcast” and the stream restarts…But it requires a person to actually click a mouse.
What I’m wondering is, does the Wirecast software try to auto-reconnect and start up the stream automatically if the connection drops and then comes back? And which version has this feature?

Wirecast should reconnect but certainly functions on the server side may have an impact.
You can test with the free demo of Wirecast.
Always use the current version. Wirecast is at 4.1.3
