Does Toast Titanium 10 have a maximum bitrate when archiving AVCHD files?
Hi guys,
I’ve been trying to archive some AVCHD footage using Toast Titanium 10. Some of the footage was shot on my old Canon HF-10 at 17mbs, and some other footage was shot with an HF M400 at 24mbs. No trouble archiving the 17mbs stuff, but the 24 mbs footage gives a message, “Could not record the disk because of a Mac OS error. Result code = – 50
Here’s the thing:
I subsequently tested a few shots on the newer HF M400 at the lower bitrate (i.e. 17mbs), and had no trouble archiving that footage.
So, I’m wondering… Does Toast Titanium 10 have a maximum bitrate when it comes to archiving AVCHD footage? I’ve been looking for the specs, but can’t seem to find this specific info.
Anyone have any experience/advice on this?
Thanks so much,
Vic
