  • Does the Sony PDW-F330 have a CMOS? Rolling shutter?

I am thinking of buying a used Sony PDW-330 to be used for shooting high end RED CARPET events where there are at times a hundred or so photographers with high power flashes going off in my frame, which results in artifacts “rolling shutter” if I shoot it with a CMOS camera. Does this camera have a CMOS chip or an IT chip? Does this camera shoot 1920×1080 and in 24P. How does this camera do in low light? Does anyone know the sensitivity (F8 @2000 lux ?) without gain?
Thanks for any info about this camera.

Here’s the details from Sony. Current mode is the F335L
    Sony XDCAM F335L
It’s 1/2″ CCD not CMOS. I haven’t used the XDCAM disc cameras but I’ve heard others say the feel the EX is a bit more light sensitive although my guess is that’s due to factors other than chip size given they’re both 1/2″
