Does Noise Reduction 2.0 not work in Windows 7 ?
Posted by Willie Bobo on July 8, 2009 at 11:15 pmIt shows that it installs okay but I can’t find it in Sound Forge.
Thanks very much,

If you are using Windows 7 RC1 in a production environment you are playing with fire. Even if Noise Reduction did work, it is not supported. I’m not sure how many people here are running Windows 7 RC1, but with such a potentially small user base, I would not expect a quick reply. It’s not like we haven’t read your question… we just don’t have an answer. If it is not showing up where it should, this suggests that it doesn’t work.
My recommendation would be to create a dual boot environment so that you can quickly get back to a known working environment when needed. I still dual boot Windows XP32 and Vista 64 because there are still applications and hardware that I use that are not supported by Vista 64 yet. I would not use Windows 7 RC1 without having a dual boot option just for times like these.
