Does LH to realtime HD to SD downconverions?
Hi folks, just wondering if LH does realtime HD to SD downconversions. I can hear audio through the UVW1800 deck – I just can’t see video!
Here’s my setup
G5 Dual 2.7 5GB ram
Mac 10.4.11
FCP 6.0.4
AJA LH Sftware 6.0.1 (control panel)
FCP:
Timeline = DVCPRO HD 1080i60
Video Playback = (tried a bunch – what’s the correct setting?)
Audio Playback = AJA
AJA:
Control:
Default video = test pattern
Genlock = ref in
Analog Out = secondary/525i29.97/Component (Beta)
Format = Primary 1080i29.97/2ndary 525i29.97/conversion = letterbox
Using component cables into UVW1800
Black burst gen to AJA ref in & UVW1800 Ref in with terminator switch ON
Svideo OUT from UVW1800 to TV Monitor SVIDEO InI’m hearing audio – but don’t get video.
I know it’s user error – any suggestions would really help

Thanks Jeremy! It turned out to need the drivers/control panel updated from an old verions. FCP had been upgraded – AJA had not!
