that’s been every Avid editor’s question for the last 11 years when the 3D DVE was introduced. What up with the aliasing? It’ll be fixed in the next release is the most common answer. Now that plugins offer DVE capabilities, we see it’s not their DVE. When things went 10 bit we saw that wasn’t it either. I don’t know why it still does it after all this time. I do know why the big isn’t the industry standard anymore tho.
Other companies grow their products by leaps and bounds while Avid takes staps backwards. What is an upgrade for other products in the form of new releases are attempts at bug fixes in the Avid world now.
