    i added BCC Levels adjust to my clip and after render it still causes my clip to look like it has stair stepping.

    even the black line at the bottom of my Widescreen Reformat Filter is flickering.

    what is up?

    that’s been every Avid editor’s question for the last 11 years when the 3D DVE was introduced. What up with the aliasing? It’ll be fixed in the next release is the most common answer. Now that plugins offer DVE capabilities, we see it’s not their DVE. When things went 10 bit we saw that wasn’t it either. I don’t know why it still does it after all this time. I do know why the big isn’t the industry standard anymore tho.
    Other companies grow their products by leaps and bounds while Avid takes staps backwards. What is an upgrade for other products in the form of new releases are attempts at bug fixes in the Avid world now.
    Something changed with the company and it aint for the better, man.
