Does Gridiron X-Factor work with AE 7.0?
Posted by Xavier De champs on September 27, 2006 at 4:39 pmWell? Does it?
And do I have to install all the plugins on the second computer too?

September 27, 2006 at 4:47 pmNow that Nucleo Pro is finished and shipping, we are working on X-Factor for AE 7. Don’t have an exact timeframe yet.
Yes – you need all plugins and fonts on all render nodes for X-Factor to properly render the frames.

September 28, 2006 at 2:03 pmYes. I assume you are talking about Nucleo Pro. X-Factor was our first product for AE that uses a render farm to do things like previews and renders etc.
Nucleo (a completely seperate product), which supports both AE 6.5 and 7 – makes previews and renders faster on a single workstation (no network needed).
Nucleo Pro (a completely seperate product – but it includes Nucleo), which supports AE 7 only, – adds things like background rendering, speculative previews and renders, and commit to disk functionality on top of the fast previews and fast renders that Nucleo provides.
Check out https://www.gridironsoftware.com (or give credit to the COW and click one of the Nucleo Pro banners) for more.
