Does “FIND” text string fail on long text fields
I’m transcribing interviews (with DV Log-X) and importing into FCP. The result is Log Notes that are really long. But “Find” doesn’t seem to recognize all the text. Anybody know if there is an effective cut-off length, beyond which “Find” doesn’t work? Or “cut-off” characters which somehow screw up “Find?”
While I’m at it, does anybody know how to increase the size of the log note window? I discovered that “Show Thumbnail” causes the Log Note field to expand to 4 lines which is a big improvement. Any other tricks to expand it further?

from with in the “browser” window you can stretch the log window horizontally by placing your cursor over the area where it turns into the next column then just stretch however wide you want it.
