    Hi everyone,

I want to reequip myself to make little video editing.
    Personnal projects mostly.
But i can do a pretty good job, having a professionnal background

I worked on AVID 5 and FCP 7 like 4 or 5 years ago.
The new Macbook pro with 16 gig RAM would be my target.

    My questions are:

Does FCP X as a good workflow with 16 G RAM or does it absolutely need 32G? (Wich the MBP can’t have)
Should I go with AVID and and monthly membership?
or an ADOBE PREMIERE and the Adobe Bundle?
Is Davinci Resolve a good option?

Should I think of an IMac with 32G?

Oh! And that new ”Touch Bar”, is it a Gimmic or does it really have purpose?

Looking for all of your suggestions

    Thank you

A video editor coming back to life.

you’ll want to ask this in the FCPX Techniques forum.
    BUT
FCPX and MacBook Pros do work well together (not so surprisingly)
    so I’ve read, anyway
