Does FCP 6 Batch Transcode MXF Files
Does FCP 6 batch transcode from MXF to QT files? I have folders and folders of MXF files that need to be transcoded to QTs so that I can work in FCP. Can FCP 6 Batch convert import the files so that I don’t have to import one clip at a time.

As long as the folders have the entire file structure in tact, you should be able to use “Log and Transfer” to import the P2 footage.

Yes, the complete file structure is in tact (downloaded using P2CMS). But will it log & transfer more then one clip at a time (like other programs such as HD Log, Raylight..) ?

I will admit that I haven’t used this since FCP 5.1.4 and then it was a different program. But I imagine it would do just fine. There are lots of people here using it everyday.

It will. Just add all the P2 folders to the Log and Transfer Browser, then highlight them all, and then ADD TO CUE. It will do them all, and join spanned clips.
