  • Does Encore 5.5 Blu-ray still suck?

    Hi all,

In the wake of the Final Cut X debacle I’m looking at alternative NLE software and authoring tools. Adobe may be the answer.

It’s been a while since I’ve dabbled in blu-ray authoring in Encore. I know a few versions ago Encore was terrible at Blu-ray authoring (menus didn’t function properly etc.). Has this all been fixed in 5.5?

    Thanks!

    Jeff,
I know a lot bugs have been fixed in CS5 if you compare it to CS4. – there are still a few bugs, but you can use it right now.

CS5 can also create BD-interactive (Interactive Graphics).

if you need to go for replication, or you would like to extent encores ability, you can use blustreak tracer or tracer CMF.

here you can find more infos about it:

    cheers
