I’m hoping someone can help me out with the prevalent editing feature in “Happy Endings” by Don Roos. Not the best movie in the world, but still would love to learn how to do this feature – where the black screen scrolls in the from the left or right and text appears over the black screen. If you don’t know what feature I’m talking about watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIDokbCLUr8 (after the kiss, wait for it)

I’d appreciate ANY help!! Thank you very much in advance!

    Tiffany,

Not trying to put you down, but that’s really a question for the FCP Basics Forum.

It’s simply white text on a black background created using Boris Title 3D, then animated using two keyframes in the Motion tab of the viewer.

If keyframing in the Motion tab is something you’ve never done, best look in the FCP manual Part III, chapter 14, page 255 “Changing Motion Parameters.”
