    IMHO. The best, cleanest most realist looking 24P available for FCP is nattress effects.

    I usually use “Strobe” under “Video” in Effects. I set it to “1” and that smooths out video pretty good. That and doing some good color correction has had people asking me if the footage was shot on film. When I DP for spots, if I’m using a DVCam, I gain up to 9db to give the footage a little “grain” and reduce output from my lighting fixtures to maintain depth of field. I don’t gain up if I’m shooting on beta.
