I am tired of trying to find answer online so I assume there are non and open this thread to hopefully find an answer and help other that are going crazy over this too.
I have a wiggle expression on a composition which is meant to be a videogame player ico, this icon goes on top on a map and I use a wiggle expression to make it move a little simulating sort of an idle movement. I put this composition on the final comp through essential graphics, so I can change some parameters for each icon and have them all not look exactly the same.
The problem is that the wiggle movement is exactly the same for all of the icon iterations, they all being precomps, they don’t choose different movement based on layer index since there is only one true actual icon position value(in the original icon comp) and what I am using in the map comp are essential graphics iterations.
I have seen quite a few comments on seedRandom but non of them ACTUALLY explain how it works, and this drives me total nuts, they only say put this here and there and that will happen, but non of them actually explain how the software reads and understands the code.
