  • Does Adobe Encore have an automatic noise reduction setting?

    Hello all!
This may sound like a silly question, but is there some kind of automatic noise reduction filter on Adobe Encore? I have authored a number of Blu-rays, using manual transcode settings to ensure maximum quality, and the resultant HD image still looks a tad…underwhelming. Mainly because the noise which traces back to the source is almost non-existent, which takes away a degree of detail. Does the program automatically do this? Is there a de-noise setting I can switch off? Or does it come down to the program simply not being able to encode refined HD images?

I like noise & grain, it adds texture to the image, and I’m not really satisfied with how the image is looking when transferred to a Blu-ray.

    Hope someone can help.

    Cheers.

    P.S. I’m using CS6.

    The answer is no.

Perhaps share your source video specs and export settings for review, screen grabs are helpful

    Thanks
