I have an iMac Pro that is currently connected to a Thunderbolt 3 Cal Digit T4 RAID Chassis. I need to output video to a monitor, and using a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor, which is Thunderbolt 2. By adding the Blackmagic interface, to the chain, will it slow the overall Thunderbolt 3 speed to the iMac, and if so, would it make more sense to connect the BM interface on its own separate Thunderbolt 3 bus, rather than inline with the storage device?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to put the TB2 device at the end of the chain. ie: TB2-TB3-Imac Pro.
