Documentary with 2 XHG1 HDv Canon Camcorders
i am going to shoot a documentary in june. its about the jacobs pilgrampath to santiago de compostella.
we are planning to use 2 G1, both locked with LockIts from ambiente recordings to get the time code sync.
our camerarental, ludwig in munich, just ordered to models for this shot. consequently i didn`t had the time to do any tests by now.
looking for some expereinces, advises, no goes and so on about this camera.
we are shooting handheld most of the time. so i was wondering if the optical stabilizer is doing a good job in the way of that you don`t realize he is doing his job!
i am planning to shoot in 25p (pal).
what do i have to know about post production. is it finalcut compatible?
what are the results if i use the hd/sdi box for playing out the material to an HD recorder?hope there is anybody out there who can help me on that subject!!!
