  Documentary – Unique Style To Presenting Still Images

  Hello my friendly After Effects extraordinaires!

  I’m after some unique/rare styles of presenting still images for a documentary about the 1960s . I’m trying to avoid effects such as parallax as it seems perhaps a little overused.

  Another effect that I’ve considered is placing images within an animated film reel – similar to how it’s used in this Johnny Cash doc.

  I will predominantly be using After Effects and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for other styles/effects?
