Documentary Interview Subtitle– How?
Is there a way I can create my own news banner, similar to ones seen in documentaries. An example is John Smith and underneath that is War Expert or something like that. I don’t want it to be just words, but I want it to be in a cool shaped rectangle box thing. I just need to know the best way to do it.

Layer>new solid. Pick a colour.
Using one of the mask tools, draw a mask around the solid in the shape you want.
Set the solid’s opacity to what you want, or experiment with transfer Modes. (check the help)
Click the text tool and start typing to add a text layer.
Move them where you want.That should get you started.
