Do you know any model of glasses that can record video in undoomed quality?
Bonjour,
So many glasses with a hidden camera are either breakable junk, poor video quality, absurd design (the camera mega obvious) and other un-useable random low framerate aberrations, that I have to resort asking… do know of one model that just achieves this simple task ?
Just a decent/realistic looking pair of glasses with a well hidden camera that works reliably, that can record real 1080p and sound in good quality at 30 real fps and that is affordable (without going 300$ just for a simple miniature camera hidden in a glass frame…!)

Your wish list is a little on the ambitious side, I’m afraid, at least at that price.
Only way to get to something like that at your price is to build it yourself, extracting parts from existing units like pen cams, and have a craftsperson install them into custom frames that are not a dead give-away. And pen cam video quality is, um, modest, let’s say. You have battery concerns, storage media or transmitter concerns. Even with a Micro SD memory card, and no transmitter, the eyeglass earpieces and nose bridge will need to be pretty large, or have the earpieces obscured by lots of hair near the temples. Frankly, for covert work, a 2-part “wire” system, with the lens/sensor hidden in a button, cabled to the rest of the unit under a shirt or something, is a more practical method than glasses.

I’m afraid I’m not crafty enough to actually make the pair of covert glasses, but I do like your idea of a 2 part system.
I was also thinking of finding a clever way to dissimulate a gopro because the image quality and angle of view would be really nice if there was a way to hide it… haven’t found yet !

By the way, when you said “a little ambitious at least at that price”, did you have any other model in mind in a higher price range ? ?
