    Do I uninstall Video Collection Pro first before I install Production Studio Premium Upgrade?

    Hi there,

    I don’t know if we are allowed to boast in this forum, BUT I GOT MY UPGRADE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAA!!

    What would the best path be installing the upgrade to Studio Premium? I’ve read a few post with people having hassles with installing on top of the current installation?

    I did a complete uninstall of all products, except Photoshop CS2, as it is the same version. I also did a backup of things like AE plugs, Encore menus and Audition files (loops)….this is because some of those files were freebies from the previous version and aren’t included in the new install. The new install is HUGE and takes close to an hour, even on my dual xeon machine.

    Hi there,

    Obviously some of the plugins in 7.0 has been revamped, so if I backup 6.5’s Plugin folder, I should only copy the plug-ins that are not present in 7.0. Is it as easy as copy and paste, and select “Do not replace duplicate file”, so that only files that do not exist in 7.0’s plugin folder gets copied,

    or,

    does it go deeper than that?
