March 2, 2012 at 2:57 pmOk, I have installed the 32 bit version of Vegas and I do now have Boris 9 in my plug-in chain.
Its not behaving the way I expected it to though. I was watching a TUT online and all the effects where listed separately(seemed much easier to use). What I am seeing is just one Boris 9 effect. After I drag it to the clip and open the effect and “click here for options” I get a new app in lots of separate windows.
Can I get the effects to show up individually like I saw in the TUT?

What TUT were you watching? Because Boris FX has always been one plug-in with it’s own interface. The same is true for RED and Graffiti. Only BCC7 has individual plug-ins exposed to Vegas Pro.

March 2, 2012 at 3:18 pmLOL, I’m all mixed up. What the heck do I want?? I really like the idea of using the effects from the plug-in chain. Will BCC7 give me what I was looking for in regards to the AE comparison?
And, sorry, I really didnt expected this thread to go so long.

Not really. Boris RED is a better comparison to AE. This is because Boris RED has it’s work interface with 3D containers and behaves very similar to AE. It can even do things AE can’t. BCC7 is restricted by the Vegas interface where tracks cannot interact in a container.
