    Hey all

    I tried this question in the search and nothing so forgive me if it’s redundant

    Why XENA, what can it offer me if I’m already capturing from a DVX200 over firewire??

    Xena (and Blackmagic, etc.) cards are more for non-DV formats: SD-SDI, SD BetaCam, HD of various sorts. If your setup is working for you with DV over FireWire, then you don’t really need a video I/O card. You might gain more accurate output monitoring vs. what you have now.
